In Takamatsu City, Japan, on August 24, 1975, at 2:00 p.m., a high school student named Masahiro Fujikawa, while diligently observing the sky through a telescope on his veranda, suddenly spotted a flash above the nearby Saitokuji Temple. Reacting swiftly, he captured the moment with his pocket camera as the object arched downward in his direction and then swiftly darted away into the afternoon sky.
