Charleston, South Carolina UFO
On April 4, 1980, diesel mechanic William J. Herrmann observed and captured a series of color photos of a silvery disc-shaped object near Charleston Air Force Base. In one particular shot, he described the 40ft diameter object as hovering and wobbling around its vertical axis while he stood in a field, holding his breath. At another point, he recalled the object emitting a loud buzzing noise.
