Fort Belvoir, Virginia UFO
The Condon Report (p.168) extensively covered this incident, allocating 11 pages to its examination. In September 1957, an Army private stationed at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, was summoned by his comrades to observe a peculiar black, ring-shaped UFO on the approach. Acting swiftly, the private seized his Brownie camera and took six photographs of the mysterious object, with this image being the first in the series. Intriguingly, after approximately 5 minutes, the previously solid-looking black ring began to be enveloped in white smoke.
