Bariloche, Río Negro, Argentina UFO
Prof. Sebastian José Tarde, MD, a distinguished physician and later director of Mendoza Central Hospital, spent the year-end with his students in Bariloche, a popular holiday resort in the Argentine Andes. While on a boat trip on Nahuel Huapi Lake, the Professor captured photos with his Leica camera. It was only after receiving the developed images that he realized he had photographed an orange disc hovering over the mountains. The original slide was examined by two photographic experts from Mendoza, who confirmed that the object was neither a lens flare nor a film error, asserting its authenticity. Notably, UFO sightings are not uncommon over the lake, with several reports in 1999 and 2000.
