Kevin D. Randle, a retired lieutenant colonel with the U.S. Air Force, authored more than 100 books. Many of his writing focused on UFOs, however, he also wrote numerous fiction books in a variety of genres. Within the UFO community, Randle's considered one of the foremost experts regarding his research on Roswell, New Mexico. Randle specified, "We need to begin to apply rigorous standards of research ... stop accepting what we wish to believe even when the evidence is poor, and begin thinking ahead."
