Tulsa, Oklahoma UFO
At 1:45 a.m. on August 2, 1965, 14-year-old Alan R. Smith captured this photograph from his Tulsa, Oklahoma backyard. He wasn't alone; five other witnesses observed the UFO as it transformed from white to red to blue-green. The USAF Photo Analysis Division conducted an analysis for Project Blue Book, confirming it was a tangible object located less than a mile (1.6km) from the camera, with a diameter of approximately 30 feet (10m). They noted similarities to the effect created by photographing a multi-colored revolving filter floodlight. However, in 1977, after computer analysis, Ground Saucer Watch declared the picture to depict an extraordinary flying craft of large dimension.
