At 10:00 a.m. on March 7, 1973, while enjoying his vacation in Bangkok and Saigon, Mr. Akita Takao embarked on an excursion boat along the Mi-Nam River in Bangkok, Thailand. As the morning sun beautifully illuminated the temples along the riverbank, he decided to capture the scenery with his camera. However, upon returning to Japan and developing his film, he was astounded to discover an unexpected sight – a solid, flattened, spheroid object with a hazy ring at its center, suspended in the sky to the left of the temple he had intended to photograph.
