In August alone, Project Blue Book documented a staggering 262 reports, surpassing the numbers since November 1957. This saucer surge wasn't limited to the U.S., as UFO sightings were reported in various global locations such as Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Europe, Antarctica, and Australia. This photograph, taken in early summer, showcases an object spotted over Adelaide, Australia. Witnesses observed it hovering for 20 minutes before rapidly streaking off to the east.
