French scientist who studied plant material near alleged UFO sightings in the 1980's with Jacques Vallee, including Trans-en-Provence.
Dr. Bounias, a scientist researcher at INRA, a French agronomic public research institute, analyzed alfalfa samples found at the Trans-en-Provence site. His study showed high biochemical changes at the place the craft was said to land. Bounias did a write-up, "Ground Scar Analysis" (Analyse d'une trace), for GEIPAN, part of the French Space Agency that investigates UAPs. According to Bounias, a strong electromagnetic field could produce such a phenomenon.
