Herman David Froning Jr. co authored "Field Propulsion Physics and Intergalactic Exploration" with Yoshinari Minami. Fronging spanned an over 50 year career in space technology and research. His expertise lead him to work with the U.S. Air Force, NASA, Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, and eventually lead to the creation of his own company, Flight Unlimited. For NASA's "Breakthrough Propulsion Physics" program, Froning specialized as a Founding Participant.
