Northrop YB-49
Northrop Corporation's prototype heavy bomber jet developed for the U.S. Air Force after World War II.
Two prototypes were built, although it never entered production. Knowledge and testing data from the YB-49 was used to help design and produce the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber decades later.
