Naval photographer who filmed bright objects in Utah in 1952.

Delbert C. Newhouse was a photographer for the U.S. Navy. In 1952, he and his wife were driving across Utah when they claimed to witness at least twelve shiny silver objects in the sky. He took a video of the objects with his 16mm camera, which was reviewed by the U.S. Navy and Air Force. The investigators found Newhouse to be credible and studied the incident at length.

Newhouse claimed to have close up shots of the objects, but they were deleted when the original video was returned to him by the U.S. Air Force. Newhouse stuck to his story for over 50 years, until his death in 2006 in Portland, Oregon.
