Christopher Mellon
Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence believed that UFOs could be a serious threat to our national security and should be properly investigated.
Christopher Mellon worked as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense of Intelligence in both the Clinton and G.W. Bush administrations and later became the Minority Staff Director of the Senate Intelligence Committee. He believed that UFOs sightings should be taken seriously by our government.
After leaving his government positions, he joined the group To the Stars Academy of Arts & Science in hopes of bringing a spotlight to UAPs and the potential risk they pose to our national security. The group produced a show focused on the Nimitz incident for the History channel called "Unidentified: Inside America's UFO Investigation." Mellon asserted, "There are craft that are violating our airspace with unknown intentions and extraordinary capabilities. And until we get some answers to the questions about the technology involved and the capability, the intentions, we shouldn't rest easy."
