Witnessed a "flying saucer" in 1953 from her ranch in Southern California.
Althea Johnson had a long career in the accounting department at Lockheed Aircraft corporation. On December 16, 1953 between 5:00 and 5:05pm, Althea Johnson witnessed a UFO appear during a Lockheed test flight, while outside her house near Agoura, California. Her husband, Lockheed engineer and designer, Clarence "Kelly" Johnson, was with her during the sighting.
It's unknown if she ever publicly spoke about the sighting, along it's doubtful given her position at Lockheed, and the fact that the sighting happened during a secret Project Skunk Works test flight. She died in 1969, and was survived by her husband who lived until 1990.
