Roswell Case Officially Closed
The US Air Force produces a 262 page document as part of the final step to list the Roswell incidents as Case Closed.
The USAF produced a report in 1994 that "closed the case" on the Roswell incident. The report made definitive claims that the debris found was from a research balloon that was part of Project MOGUL, an attempt at detecting Soviet nuclear tests by measuring air composition in the upper atmosphere. Alleged bodies recovered from the crash sites were written off as anthropomorphic test dummies. Skeptics of the government claims dispute the timing and veracity of this report.
