Reagan famously asked the world how global differences would be put aside in the presence of an alien invasion.
On September 21, 1987, American President Ronald Reagan delivered a speech to the UN General Assembly. The speech has long been notable to UFO enthusiasts for the following line: "I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world."
