CEFAA scientific committee member and nuclear chemist who was given footage of the UFO recorded by the Chilean Navy in 2014.
Mario Avila with Chile's CEFFA, Committee for the Study of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena, analyzed UFO footage taken by a Chilean Navy Captain's and technician's routine helicopter patrol in 2014. The eight-minute video recorded an object that could be seen by eye and through infrared but did not register on radar or any other platform. Once the footage was taken, the Navy turned it over to CEFAA, General Bermúdez, and Avila, a nuclear chemist. Avila interviewed the two officers. He reported that he was, "Very impressed by these witnesses. They were highly trained professionals with many years experience, and they were absolutely certain that they could not explain what they saw."
