Art Bell
Original creator and host of Coast to Coast AM radio show that discussed many paranormal themes and the author of multiple books.
Art Bell became a well-known name in radio broadcaster through creating and hosting his show originally named "West Coast AM" and later changed to "Coast to Coast AM." His show differed from most radio programs of the day by focusing on a wide-range of topics that often included conspiracy theories. For many years, Bell refused to screen callers and gave people a platform to express their ideas without judgement and sarcasm. This does not mean that he believed every caller's claims, but he allowed a place for them to be expressed. Some popular guests that appeared on Bell's program included George Knapp, Ed Dames, Richard Hoagland, and Linda Moulton Howe.
Bell was the author and co-author of multiple books such as "The Source: Journey Through the Unexplained" and "The Edge: Man's Mysterious Past & Incredible Future." He also appeared on an ABC News special, "Peter Jennings Reporting: UFOs – Seeing Is Believing."
